Most prominent among the basic equipments are devices such as record players, MP3 players, and compact disc players in order to play sound recordings, sound system that aid for the amplification as well as broadcasting of the recordings, DJ mixer – a kind of electronic accessory that helps to effortlessly switch from one song to another, microphone, which in turn helps the DJ to speak and introduce songs to the listener or audience, and monitor speaker. Sometimes, equipments such as iPods are used to mix songs.
